The March marks the Spring, however it still brings us the chilliness! Thanks to the trust of the Incorporated Management Committee, I，Cheng Kei Man, am appointed as the new principal of NgLaiWo Memorial School and it is my pleasure to join this big family.
It is obviously the time when spring returns and all things are full of vitality. It is also a time when students begin their second-semester chapters and are anxiously awaiting exams. However, the fifth wave of the epidemic has sharply stopped the happy school life. Grounding the lovely students at home — less sharing, less company of friends, less laughter!
But still, we have to believe: The motivation and potential of learning are still active; the teachers are also doing their best to find different ways to keep our students’ enthusiasm and pursuit of knowledge.
At the same time, I would like to thank all parents and the teachers for their sincere and close cooperation, so that our students can always maintain the mentality of exploring new things whether online, at home, in the mutual help of neighbors, or in the community. Face new challenges with a positive and optimistic attitude!
I would like to thank Principal Ko and Vice Principal Chan for their efforts in leading Nglaiwo school to better implement a number of school policies when dealing with the epidemic, and initiate diverse teaching methods to inspire students’ desire for knowledge. No doubt I will keep the school moving forward aligned with their footsteps. It is the critical pandemic hard time, however, the school definitely will maintain the standard of learning and teaching.
I strongly believe this unexpected tough time is also a good time to let our students miss and cherish the school life more; in terms of personal growth, they will treasure more on the love their parents offer. Be more caring about what’s going on around them!
Hope you all take good care of yourself and stay healthy. We are looking forward to seeing you back at Nglaiwo school sooner!
