Our third and fourth-grade students have been longing for visiting the Hong Kong Wetland Park with joy and excitement. The sky was so clear that it was a good time for the students to walk out of the classrooms to get closer to the nature.
The tour guide led the students to different theme areas, including observing the wetland animals and plants at close range and visiting the exhibition hall of the wetland park with animations and interactive games. By doing all those activities, students not only understand the ecology of the wetland, the food, and the resources produced there but also be more aware of the close relationship between human beings and wetlands.
This visit offered the students the perception on the significance of protecting wetlands in our daily life and making good use of wetland resources, such as saving water, cherishing food, etc.
本校三、四年級學生懷着興奮的心情，來到香港濕地公園參觀。當天晴空萬里，正是同學們走出教室，走近大自然的好時機。
濕地公園導賞員帶領學生參觀不同的主題區，包括近距離觀察濕地動植物、參觀了濕地公園展覽廳，配以動畫及互動遊戲，讓同學認識濕地的生境、出產的食物及資源，了解人類與濕地的緊密關係。
同學藉此提昇他們在日常生活中實踐保護濕地的意識，並在日常生活中善用濕地資源，例如節約用水、珍惜食物等。
