From last year, our school has already adopted a newly designed school-based and student-centered LBD (Learning by Doing) curriculum, sponsored by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, in our P1 and P2 General Studies subject.
The curriculum encourages junior form students’ experiential self-learning, participations and active explorations, so as to foster students’ learning motivation through ‘sensations’ and ‘practice’ and their creativity development.
To get in line with the theme of ‘Animal Care’ under our P2’s General Studies subject, some volunteers and their dogs were invited to our School to promote the message of ‘Love Animals & Cherish Life’. Our students had fun time to stay closer with the dogs and being told the stray animals rescuing experience with an interactive presentation entitled ‘The Responsibility of Looking after Animals’.
