‘Museum from School’
Our school launches a new era on museum learning which allows students to review the history and the culture of humankind by exploring different museums around the world, such as the British Museum, the National Gallery, the Palace Museum and the museum du Louvre and etc.
This year, we have invited some British tour guides to introduce The Natural History Museum in London to all P1-P6 students. The museum collects various gigantic dinosaur fossils and simulation models, with up to 70 million exhibits.
The tour guides shared children’s favourite dinosaurs, including T-Rex, Stegosaurus, Deinonychus, Iguanodon, Parasaurolophus and Diplodocus, and guided students to think about some interesting quizzes: ‘What is the relationship between T-Rex and chicken?’, ‘Do dinosaurs have feathers?’ and ‘What’s the function of Parasaurolophus’ roarings?’. It was such an amazing experience that our students have learned not only a lot of facts about dinosaurs, but also the features of museums in Britain!
「在校遊博物館」
本校開啟了博物館教學的新時代，讓學生通過探索世界各地不同的博物館，如大英博物館、國家美術館、故宮博物院和羅浮宮博物館等，回顧人類的歷史和文化。
今年度本校邀請了英國當地導遊為一至六年級學生介紹英國倫敦的自然史博物館。館內收藏了各種巨型恐龍化石和仿真模型，展品多達7,000萬件。
當地導遊介紹了最受小朋友歡迎的恐龍，包括霸王龍、劍龍、恐爪龍、禽龍、副櫛龍和梁龍等，並引導了學生思考一些有趣的問題:「霸王龍和雞是甚麼關係?」，「恐龍有羽毛嗎？」，「副櫛龍的叫聲有甚麼作用? 」學生從中認識了很多恐龍的知識，亦了解到英國當地博物館的特色，真是一次很奇妙的經歷呢!
